The Terra Cotta Rain Barrel Combo (each rain barrel is 55 gallon capacity, giving you 110 gallons for the double setup) is unpainted, with a two-piece lids, similar in design to the "flat and ring" for a canning jar. Each rain barrel comes with a screw-on lid, one with multiple 2.5 inch intake holes, the second with one small hole to allow for drainage, screened to keep out debris and mosquitoes. The internal overflow allows you to more efficiently divert excess water to your plants, rain garden or downspout system, away from your foundation. The 3/4" brass ball valve now comes standard and fits standard garden hose connections. Ball valves are locked down on the inside with a galvanized hex nut for stability and leak proof performance.
